Hemming. Slip stitch or Blind stitch.
Slipstitch or Blindstitch is a small permanent stitch used for hemming that can be almost invisible. You conceal the thread by slipping the needle through a fold in cloth with each stitch.

Secure the thread.
Pick up a small (a couple of threads), inconspicuous stitch of the garment with the needle.
Take another small stitch in the hem edge, diagonally.
Continue to stitch, taking a small stich first in the garment and then in the hem edge, until the hem is finished.
