Mila Pershyna, of Bloomfield Hills, has been named Mrs.USA 2022 and will represent the United States at the Mrs. Worldwide competition in Nebraska in July 2023.

Mila is a businesswoman, educator, mother and philanthropist. She is the founder of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit orga-nization MP Global Foundation, dedicated to teaching children of all ages life skills to aid them in becoming talented and capable adults through a variety of free events such as educational workshops, field trips and career exploration opportunities.

Mila earned a Bachelor of Science in linguistics, a Master of Arts in fashion design and merchandising, and a certification in fashion law at Fordham Law School.

Having attained extensive knowledge in retail and the fashion industry, which includes Mila’s work in New York City for Diane von Furstenberg, showcasing her collection during New York Fashion Week, and being featured in British Vogue, Mila put it all into building her own fashion school for kids and adults, which is located in Waterford.
