The goal of this course is to give you step-by-step video tutorials and an easy-to-read text that will provide a complete understanding of draping techniques.
My name is Mila Pershyna and I’ll be your instructor. I was sewing and designing apparel since early childhood because I wanted to show my personal style through creating one-of-a-kind, original garments. After earning an MA in Fashion Design and Merchandising, an internship with DvF in NYC and a career in retail I launched my own women’s apparel brand MP Fashion. The techniques by which a designer works to develop a line may vary. This course focuses on the designer who chooses to work with muslin or fabric, using a dress form or live model, draping, and pinning the pieces together to get the desired style.
